LEGAL FUND
A legal fund has recently been established to assist those who are engaged in cases that may impact all manufactured home owners in British Columbia. This recognizes that people involved in these disputes may not be able to afford the legal expenses, but at this point, court action appears to be the best option for obtaining an equitable resolution to a devastating loss. Their choices are to accept the financial and emotional loss of their home or fight to gain from the courts, protection that should be provided by the legislature and local Councils. These typically people who are attempting to raise the necessary funds through activities such as dances and garage sales. As these cases will affect all of us, we should take the opportunity to donate what we can to assist them.
